This year...

I think that I have had a pretty positive outlook on this year so far...and it hasn't been too bad at all. I have to say that I am actually satisfied with a lot of things in my life for the first time in a long time.

I am able to live my life for entirely for myself and I don't have to answer to anyone but myself. It is a little sad that I am just experiencing this now, and not a decade ago...but alas I am getting there :)

My job might not pay me an executive salary and I may not live in a house in the suburbs. But, I don't miss those things anymore...I have what I need and most of what I want. I can sit in my apartment and say that it is mine and I love that.

There are so many things that make me smile when I think about this year in comparison to where I have been and it really is amazing and I can only hope that it continues to feel this way...
